To fall in love with you is to burn stories of coulds and shoulds

To fall in love with you is to make fantasies fade for good

To fall in love with you is to watch the bastions of my knowing collapse

To fall in love with you is to experience life beyond good and bad

To fall in love with you is to slowly surrender who I thought I was, or am supposed to be

To fall in love with you is to encounter a reflection of me in eyes that saw what I can never see

To fall in love with you is to create a new taste in our mouths, a new prose in our minds, a new feeling in our hearts, a new meaning to our lives

To fall in love with you is waking up to find, we have only been rising in love, no longer blind
