After the rain the sunshine
And in between life winks at you and sometimes you can’t see that
Life happens in between good and bad, happy and sad, facebook life updates
Life happens in between the beats of a drum, in between waking up and falling asleep
Life happens right before getting your test results and right after you forgot about them
Life happens right before your first kiss, and right after passion faded away
When life happens we call it boredom
We grab our phones
We sink in anxious storylines
When life happens we call it uneventful, banal, unexciting
We seek drama
We sink into future predictions based on past experiences
Remember that in between is also living
